Magnus is correct, the name is an allusion to Linköping University, not a country.

Linköping is in Sweden, so no connection to Lithuania. I think the name is a wordplay, as the university is often referred to in shorthand as Lith. I am unsure of what exactly it stands for though. Ackegård (or anyone else that studied there) should be able to tell more.
