Actually, those are the gowns worn by the women of the ancient Minoan civilization that flourished on the island of Crete and was destroyed by barbaric invaders all before the rise of the ancient Greeks - they left no known written records, but architecture, murals, and functional plumbing that suggested a peaceful and egalitarian society. *sigh* There is no justice.
