Well Kira is very good at acrobatics and might just have dropped down from a nearby roof. And for the person thinking that she needs bigger daggers, lets just say that her favourite way of fighting is stabbing someone in the back, and the guards armour doesn't cover the sides. Lots of vital organs that can be pierced.
