The posture is referred to as 'digitigrade'. As for the bottle, that's what's commonly referred to as an 'amphora', and is a more or less traditional design for ancient Greece - so it seems perfectly fitting to me, given the subject matter. I've got to agree with those that say the pencilwork is brilliant. I really love the way the textures and the shadows come alive in all of these drawings.
