I wonder if she is a "crazy" inventor, who built the umpteenth "flying machine" and is about to vindicate herself. I love the outfit, and all of your wings are wonderful.

Scholarly material
A Mage is a magus or shaman, magician, as is a druid. Caesar mentioned female druids in Gaul, & some think that there is a connection between female druids and dryads, tree nymphs. See Wikipedia.

Who is the Druid?
The chick is the Druid. See Jenn the Druid, & Jenniki the Druid in the playelf gallery.

Stolen? Hardly.
Phoenixwolf, this is done in Håkan's usual style, so I'm inclined to think you're a moron.

Tree Magic
Elves will be better than human scientists, so I imagine modified baobab trees whose huge swellings are made into rooms.

Commander f....umm the fact that she is female is the whole point of the drawing. Who the hell cares if it's historically accurate? You dont see people complaining about elves or mages in pictures...so what's so hard to believe about a female knight or whatever?

The woman is the druid. She's holding a plan, natural staff and she's barefoot, which suggest she's close to nature...or a 1960's hippie chick.
Then there is the title, "Mage and Druid" the Mage is on the leff and the druid on the right, matching the title.
Mind you, the Mage seems to be attempting to look down the druid's shirt, but never mind...I'd likely be doing the same in his position!
Nice character drawing.
