Above poster> Look up Spelljammer.
Personally, I'm partial to the newer Dragonstar, but anyway. Nice image. Elegant lines as always, and it sets the mood well.

Ah, but WHICH Dumpstat?
Perhaps the real question is if wisdom really IS his dump stat. Perhaps he actually has a high wisdom score because he had the common sense to just poke his big, bulbous eye rather then find ways around his anti-magic. Of course, this is sort of a surface observation since the later work on beholders (names Lords of Madness, if I recall) said that their eyes were rock hard and very durable. But the law of comedy wins in my book. It's like dropping a rock on a dragon's tail.

Who needs a laboratory bench?
I also like the way the book floats in mid air, as does her staff. The usual excellent detail. Her bodice has no obvious means of support. The staff looks similar to the ankh, the Egyptian key of life.

Hiya Orc
Hey Orc :p
To be honest, she never died m8, ever!
And she never, ever, was a half-elf.
The only thing that "died" were our 'campaigns'. or have the GM already forgotten? ;p (Yeah it was you!)

Wrong name
Hate to be a spoilsport, but this characters name isn't Liella. Have forgotten the name, but it is a friends character and not mine. Best wishes "Liella" ;)

This setting looks familiar. It seems like many of your more detailed works take place here. It's all the more maddening that we know nothing about it. Very well done, they seem as though they're just watching ships at the harbor, but they fly.
